A post after year. AGAIN. I am starting to feel like one of them big-shot actors who brings out just one movie a year :D.
Except not many people read my blog.
But that shouldn't stop me from feeling like a big shot should it?
Oh yeah.
Back to business, when I logged in to my account, I had a completely different topic in mind to write on. But when I got here, I read some of my older posts and I took time for some much needed introspection. And after all of that, I've finally stumbled upon what I may need to do keep writing more frequently.
Reinvention. That is the word of the day. The need of the hour. The morpheme of the minute.
This post is most certainly unlike any of my other posts. This is different in the sense that, it will merely act as a preview. A sneak-peak at what you can expect from this random critic from now on.
As the years went by since I began writing, the critic in me also changed. He grew up. And he , for the most part, become way less 'critical'.
But fear not, my rant loving friends, for I shall continue to find new ways to keep you entertained.
And by doing that, this critic aims to to solve the one problem that has continued to hold him back from updating this blog. He aims to to finally be able to criticize himself. The Random Critic is going to be chastised for being a critic by himself.
You see, if there were a movie, this would be the point where the guy you thought to be the protagonist all this while turns out to be the vile, plotting, puppet master villain.
And I fell right into his trap. By branding myself as a critic, I became compelled to keep adding rants to my blog. Although I had done non rant posts, every once in a while, the villain in me would go "WHAT SORT OF A WORTHLESS CRITIC ARE YOU?. YOU KEEP POSTING STUFF THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DO. THIS ISN'T YOU, THIS SHOULDN'T BE YOU".
And that would compel me to wait for something to rant on to come up before I even think about updating the blog.
And as I waited and waited, little did i realize that the critic was growing up. He was going through life changing experiences( these aren't as dramatic as they are hyped up to be though. A post on that soon, maybe? ). And all this made writing all the more difficult.
The old guy is me right now. Metaphorically :D.
And NOW, IT IS TIME FOR THE HERO TO RISE , RISE FROM OBSCURITY AND KICK SOME VILLAIN ASS!.
No more shall i carry the burden of being a critic. If I have something to write, I write. I realized its just stupid for me to limit myself.
I needn't be a nasty scrooge-like person all the time, I can be a nasty scrooge like person when I want to!. That is the beauty of being a nasty scrooge like person!.
Yeah, you!.Watcha lookin at?.
And so TheRandomCritic begins his journey to rejuvenation. And I invite everyone who has read this post to join me. Join me on my journey. And lets kick some punk-ass butt! :D. (Only when we want to, of course,which was the whole point of this post.)
Hence,I end my return speech :D
And I promise to see you all a lot more often.
